What to Know

Network & Routes

FlixBus US operates an expanding network of intercity coach routes that link major metropolitan areas and smaller towns. Frequencies are higher on core corridors (e.g., New York–Boston, Los Angeles–San Francisco) and many routes cross the US‑Canada border. Service availability varies by region; schedules change seasonally. Connections to partner carriers and some international services are available on selected itineraries.

Onboard Experience

Most coaches provide standard reclining seats, free Wi‑Fi, and power outlets on many buses. Amenities depend on the route and operator partner; some vehicles include restrooms and extra legroom zones. Space for carry-on items is limited and overhead storage varies. Expect basic comfort geared toward short-to-medium journeys rather than long-haul luxury travel.

Booking, Tickets & Luggage

Bookable online or in the app with instant e‑ticket delivery by email and mobile wallet. Fare types include one-way, round-trip, and group bookings; seat reservations may be optional or cost extra. Standard luggage allowance covers a couple of bags in the hold plus a small carry-on; oversized or additional items can incur fees. Changes and refunds follow fare-specific rules.
